OFFICIAL STATEMENT FROM THE MANAGEMENT OF IPAM

Dear valued customers,

Further to the statement issued by Inter-Pacific Asset Management Sdn Bhd (“IPAM”) on 22nd October 2022, we wish to inform that the Securities Commission Malaysia (“SC”) has on 22nd December 2022 dismissed the Review and Appeal Application and affirmed their decision to suspend Dato’ Dr. Nazri Khan’s (“DDNK”) Capital Market Services Representative License (“CMSRL”) for 6 months pursuant to Section 72(3) of the Capital Market and Services Act 2007 (“CMSA”).

IPAM would like to reiterate and emphasize that the suspension and sanctions imposed by the SC were due to DDNK’s non-compliance with certain requirements under the CMSA, thereby resulting in a breach of the relevant sections of the CMSA and not due to or related to any mismanagement of funds.

Established in 1990, IPAM has a solid track record of more than 30 years in unit trust funds and portfolio management, in which we are governed by strict rules and regulations set by the SC.

Rest assured that your investments are in good hands and managed professionally by our highly qualified team of investment professionals. We would like to thank for your unwavering support, and it would be our privilege to continue serving you.
